Our permanent Beach Hut Marquee is next to the Beach Bistro sitting on a driftwood deck alongside the coastal garden. It is relaxed and informal and has a real coastal feel with its driftwood floor, tables, cotton bunting and storm lanterns.

In the summer the sides roll away and guests can enjoy a cool drink in the sun before sitting down for something to eat in the marquee itself. In the winter months, the Hut becomes a ‘beach shack’, heated throughout, carpeted in coir and festooned with storm lanterns, toasty and warm, a shabby chic bolt hole for truly relaxed celebrations.

During the day it is light filled and airy, as the sun sets and the lanterns and candles are lit the mood changes to a more sophisticated vibe that has a very continental feel.

When the sun shines, during holidays and weekends*, we often open the marquee and its outdoor kitchen. From here we serve a selection of grilled local meat and fish cooked directly in front of you, accompanied by some really interesting salads that are a cut above the average.  For drinks the Beach Bar opens, serving a range of wines, beers and soft drinks.

On busy weekends we sometimes open the marquee at night where the full a la carte Bistro menu can be enjoyed. It is also the venue for all our private parties, where groups of 14 or more choose from our Feasting menu.
